Restorgel is a colloidal hydroactive gel intended for the treatment of small wounds, which promotes rapid healing of the skin by covering the wound and providing a moist environment conducive to healing .

Restorgel is used after therapeutic laser treatment and is used to treat superficial burns (also those induced by radiotherapy) and small wounds (e.g. abrasions, cuts) .

Restorgel® can also be used on superficial open wounds.

Restorgel® can be used on dry or moist wounds:

• In the case of a dry wound, Restorgel® hydrates the wound (“hydrogel” effect). This absorbs the water contained in Restorgel®, which promotes the dissolution of necrotic/injured tissues.

• In the case of an oozing wound, the hydrocolloid contained in Restorgel® is activated; Restorgel® absorbs excess exudate and restores and maintains the water balance in the wound (“hydrocolloid” effect).
