The choice of pacifier flow depends on the baby's age and sucking power, parameters which may vary from one baby to another. Ages are given as a guide.
If infant milk is mixed with infant cereals or soup, it may be useful to increase the flow rate. There are also specific flow rates: special thickened liquid flow at Dodie.

Tips for use:

• – Before first use, put the product in boiling water and leave it for 5 minutes for hygiene reasons.
• – Before each use, clean the pacifier by hand. Examine and pull the pacifier in all directions. Discard it at the first sign of deterioration or fragility. Do not expose the pacifier directly to sunlight or heat.
• – For cold sterilization, follow the instructions for use and be careful not to leave the pacifier in the sterilizing solution for longer than indicated. Drain the bottle and teat well before preparing the bottle.
• – For hot sterilization (steam or microwave), carefully follow the advice in the instructions for the device used.

For the safety and health of your child:
This product must always be used under adult supervision. Never use a bottle nipple as a pacifier.

• – Continuous and prolonged feeding of liquids can lead to the appearance of dental caries, even with unsweetened liquids.
• – Always check the temperature of the food before giving the bottle. Microwave heating can cause local high temperatures.
• – The Dodie pacifier must be used with a Dodie bottle and secured with the clamping ring.
• – Replace the pacifier at least every 6 weeks for hygiene and safety reasons.
