Brushing your teeth every day, after every meal, is an essential routine. To complete it and perfect your oral hygiene, or after a surgical procedure, it is also recommended by dentists to use a mouthwash. Versatile and ideal to complete mouth cleaning, mouthwashhas several actions, including:

Antiseptic power: it treats infections, often in combination with an antibiotic recommended by the doctor, as well as oral inflammation thanks to a formulation of active ingredients that fight against the development of bad germs.

A protective power: it protects the enamel and strengthens it from external aggressions (cold, hot drinks, acidic foods , …), and also prevents the formation of cavities.

Alcohol-free, this mouthwash solution is ideal for local treatment of the oral cavity to treat inflammation and infections, and to treat a targeted area after surgery.

Uses of mouthwash

Although the use of mouthwash helps freshen the breath and complements dental care, this solution should not be used daily , unless it is a treatment recommended by the dentist. Indeed, mouthwash, often alcohol-based, can be quite aggressive for the oral flora which must retain good bacteria to be preserved and maintain its functions. It is therefore essential to follow the instructions in the leaflet or in certain cases (after a surgical operation) the advice of the dentist.

Usage Tip

• Rinse your mouth 1 to 3 times a day for the duration of treatment recommended by the dentist.
• The Paroex mouthwash from the GUM brand is reserved for adults and children aged over 6 years. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, seek the advice of your doctor.
• After brushing your teeth, pour approximately 15 ml (one tablespoon) into the case provided with the product and rinse your mouth carefully for approximately 1 minute.
• Please note, this solution cannot be swallowed and cannot be diluted when taking.
• Do not continue treatment for more than 5 days without consulting a doctor.
