Small Flag of Morocco

Like most countries in the Maghreb region, the national flag of Morocco is red; but what differentiates it from other flags is its green star. We can say that the Moroccan flag has an emblem of Islam. However, it was also the color of the Alawite dynasty which had been in power in this country since the 17th century.
