How to use the Tommee Tippee Electric Sterilizer?
Simply add 80ml of water to the base of the sterilizer, use the 2-tier stand to Carefully stack your bottles, breast pump parts, pacifiers and other accessories, replace the lid until it is secure and turn it on to sterilize for 5 minutes. The sterilizer will will automatically turn off once the cycle is complete.

Can I sterilize in advance?
The contents of the sterilizer stays sterile for 24 hours when the lid is properly attached. There is no need to wait for the bottles to dry before using them, just be sure to give them time to cool.

How often should I descale my Tommee Tippee electric sterilizer?
It depends on the region in which you live and how often you use your sterilizer. If the water in your area is hard, you may need to descale it every 14 days. If water is medium you will need to descale it every 21 days and if the water is soft it will need to be descaled approximately every 28 days.

Simply use a descaler suitable for stainless steel, i.e. descalers for kettles, irons and coffee machines. You You can also use white vinegar, but this will need to be done more frequently as it is not as effective as a specially purchased descaler.
