Urgo Burns Dressings 10 x 7 cm – Box of 4

Urgo Burns – Superficial Wounds dressings are sterile, ready-to-apply dressings in a large 10 x 7 cm format. They are suited to minor 1st-degree household burns, superficial 2nd-degree burns (blisters) and minor wounds such as grazes and small cuts.

How to use

1. For a burn, cool the area under cold water for 15 minutes.
2. Clean with an alcohol-free antiseptic, rinse with water or saline, then dry with a sterile compress. Do not use a coloured antiseptic (such as eosin) on a burn.
3. Keep the blister intact if possible.
4. Remove the protective tabs and apply the dressing, without applying any cream first.
5. Change the first dressing after 24 h, then every 48 h. Usual treatment time: 5 to 6 days.

Precautions

Do not use on deep 2nd-degree burns, 3rd-degree burns or burns on the face without medical advice. Only for wounds no larger than the pad. See a doctor if the wound does not improve after 6 days or shows signs of infection. For children, ask a pharmacist for advice. Single use; use as soon as the sachet is opened. Store away from heat, light and moisture.
