Urgo Filmogel Canker sores & Small Mouth Wounds 6ml is a medical device intended for adults. It forms a protective film which:

PHARMACIST’S ADVICE ON URGO FILMOGEL APHTES & SMALL MOUTH SORES:

Urgo Filmogel Mouth ulcers is a medical device that can be used from the age of 18.

Use the product 3 to 4 times a day, preferably before main meals, until complete healing (i.e. 3 to 5 days). Wipe one side of the spatula on the rim of the bottle, then apply the remaining quantity using the tip of the spatula so as to fully cover the canker sore or lesion. Let it dry for around ten seconds then close your mouth: a visible film forms. If this film does not seem to cover the canker sore or lesion correctly, repeat the operation. If there is no improvement after 5 days of treatment, stop use and consult a doctor.

The hygiene of the product is guaranteed by its composition, so it is not necessary to clean the spatula after use.

Contraindications and precautions for use of Urgo Filmogel Mouth ulcers:

• Do not scratch the film formed, it will disappear by itself.
• The use of Urgo Filmogel Aphtes is contraindicated for pregnant or breastfeeding women and children.
• Do not apply in cases of major ulcers (diameters > 1 cm) or herpetiform ulcers (very small ulcers present in very large numbers) which require the advice of a doctor.
• Do not apply to infected wounds, burns, deep (bleeding) wounds.
• Do not use if allergic to salicylate derivatives.
• After opening, use the product within 6 months.
